PowerBook G4=Great Computer.
Pros
It's a great computer, by the best computer company.
Cons
The paint chips, badly.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
If you need a laptop this is the computer for you. It is only 1 inch thin when closed, and is very well run. Apple is the best.
Apple has created my favorite computer again!
I grew up using only Apple, and my brother works for Apple, in Retail. Apple is clearly the best. It is really easy to use, and with the release of Mac OS 10, it is even easier.
I love having a laptop. You can bring it anywhere you need to, and it is always ready to work.
I have the 15.2-inch screen, which is the perfect size. It is not to big, and not to small. It only weighs 5.4 pounds, which is very light, and when closed shut it is only 1-inch thin.
There is one problem, the paint. There are chips all along the sides, and front, and it diminishes the appeal of the computer. There are places that can repaint it, and it looks perfect. I use my laptop like there's no tomorrow. It is always getting "thrown" around, so chips in the paint are predictable. Apple released their new laptops, a few months ago, which include the 12-inch and the 17-inch. The paint doesn't chip at all on those two.
This is the best size out of the three, if the laptop is going to only be sitting on your desk. If the laptop is going to be moving a lot, you're better to go with the 17-inch, or the 12-inch.
I love my computer; it has been the best out of the computers I own. It runs so smoothly, and doesn't drag at all. I have had the opportunity to get another computer, but I said know because I love mine so much.
It's the perfect computer, period.
