Yes, it's expensive. Mac has a much higher standard than PCs do when it comes to the monitor.
No, it's not hard to go from a PC to a Mac. I dreaded using macs until I experienced OS X. The dock is a beautiful alternative to Window's task bar. I got the hang of things in no time.
Yes, there are some software disadvantages. Although I have heard you can purchase a program that will run windows programs, unfortunately I don't know much about this. Basically, don't get this computer if all you wanna do is download music. News flash: there is no Kazaa for Mac (as of the time I have written this review). There is no WinAmp either - it has something even better called itunes. You have never experienced visuals like these!
The reason I gave tech support such a low rating is that they're nearly impossible to reach! This is why I suggest going through an apple dealer for your purchase or any issues you may have with it.
