PATA Optical Drive Enclosure for Mac laptops

This is a PATA Optical Drive (Superdrive) Enclosure for Mac laptops except for the Macbook Unibody models. This enclosure will allow you to make your internal optical drive (combo drive or superdrive) an external drive. This is a bare enclosure. No drive is installed. This can be used if you want the ability to have two optical drives, or if you want to use one of our DualDrives to have two internal hard drives and have your optical drive as an external device. The drive uses USB 2.0. In some machines, it will require two USB ports (one for the connection and one for additional power.) If you install the drive that is currently in your machine, then the drive will not have a bezel once mounted into the external enclosure.
