The MacBook Pro, Very Slow

Cons
EXTREMELY SLOW, 1 1/2 Hour Charge, Components Break on a monthly process.

No
The Bottom Line:
This computer is slow and laggy. Although the User Interface is friendly, the slowness of the computer will stop you from using it.
DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER!
DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER!
Its seems with all Macs that when you start them up, they perform very well and fast, but after months of use, there as slow as a sloth. I run high performance applications on my computer such as Final Cut Pro and other video editing softwares. My Mac cant take it even though Apple sells and designed Final Cut Pro.
Built Cheaply- Currently, it is April 2011, I bought my computer in the summer of 2010 and since then I have had to replace my battery twice at apple, and lost all my files to a hard drive malfunction. I take very good care of my computer, no dents, drops, dirt in the internals, but it still seems to break by itself.
I'll shoot you a scenario, your sitting at work, you decide to log into your email. You wait for it to log in. After ten mintues your finally logged in, but somethings wrong. Your computer screen just went black...because your batteries dead. They advertise 6-8 hours and that is true, if you turn the brightness down, quit everything, and leave your computer alone. In reality, you get 2 hours, max out of the thing.
I do however like the fact that it has a direct input for a SD card. Now I don't have to deal with the annoying cables connecting my camera or mp3 player to my computer.
I would not recommend buying this computer, if you want a computer that will log in in under 10 minutes. Although the User Interface of a mac is very easy to use, my whole experience with Macs has been sitting at a desk, tapping a beat, waiting for it to load my email.
