The Bottom Line:
This is an amazing laptop that makes tasks easy while keeping the design astonishing. Ability to use both Mac OS X and Windows a plus.
I don't know what more I can say about this laptop. I'm 20 now and have owned a computer since I was 5. Since then I've learned so much about Windows computers but found myself needing a Mac for my college major. I figured that if I was getting a Mac I'd better get one that will last me since they are expensive. Doing this was the best idea I've ever had. This laptop is super fast. Getting used to a Mac after coming from Windows is so easy. The laptop boots up so quickly, and is snappy right off the bat. After closing and re-opening the notebook, the Mac stays quick without any lag. Rarely do I ever have problems with my Mac needing to force close a program.
The keyboard and mouse are amazing. Having a backlit keyboard is something that has actually served me well in cases I never even realized I needed it before. Being able to raise or lower the backlighting is a nice touch as well. The trackpad is just as surprisingly good. Using a trackpad with no buttons freaked me out at first but it's so easy!
Being limited to 2 USB ports can be a problem at times, but it is more or less just the right amount. The charging port is in the perfect postion on the top left of the notebook. Having a magnetic charger can be problem at times since it will pop out if there is not enough slack on the cord, but think about it, if it was a normal charger, it could do some serious damage.
Overall just a great notebook and I would recommend a Macbook Pro to anyone. Going for the 15" is an added bonus!
