The 1st generation IPOD touch is nice, but there are several drawbacks. The 2nd generation is out, and isn't that much more expensive, yet you get 2x the storage space. You also have to think about your lifestyle, and make sure that you will be careful enough with it for the touch screen. Remember, if the screen gets damaged, this unit is worthless until you replace it. You can find replacement screens and info online about how to repair yourself WHEN the time comes, because, let's face it - you know you're going to use it everyday, and it's only a matter of time before the screen will need to be repaired. Enjoy the tunes on this great product!
