Pros Cheap, Generally works good
Cons BIOS reading on Core 2 Duo Temp
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  I would try a different board next time due to the temp reading error. Otherwise works good.
I wanted a cheap board to fit into a Micro ATX case and was generally pleased with other ASUS motherboards. It installed and works pretty good.

The BIOS reads the core temp incorrectly. It thinks one of the two cores on the CPU chip is running at 71C. I use Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste. I have had this chip installed on an ASUS P5N-D motherboard and it read 26C on both cores. Also pulled the chip off again and reinstalled it after cleaning, but I get exactly the same readings. Both programs like CoreTemp and HWMonitor read the chip temp correctly at 26C. All programs generally run fine, but I do get one game (Guild Wars) that thinks its overheating and kicks off the game after awhile with a message that it has shut off to prevent hardware damage. I have updated the BIOS to the latest available, but still have the same problem. ASUS tech support have told me there must be a problem with the way the BIOS is reading the temps and suggested that I send the board back for an RMA. Everything seems to be running fine and I didn't feel like waiting for 2-4 weeks for a replacement motherboard, so I tolerate the one program kicking me off once and a while.

A lot of people have had conflicts when trying to use the disk that came with the motherboard. I had used the ones from the ASUS website and everything went ok.)
