Apple MacBook 13.3 in. (MC516LLA) Mac Notebook

the 2009 macbook white has a cool design BUT the hardware is unreliable and i had lot of issues after only 18 months : 1/ dead HDD (they choose the unreliable hitachi brand (see the numerous hdd problems in neweggs reviews). it is a shame they put such a cheap hdd in a $1000 laptop to save $5. 2/ dvd reader now make a very loud spinning noise. 3/ trackpad button is sometimes not clicking. 4/ platic cracked where you put the palm of your hand. i will never buy apple computer again, i have a lot of computers and all my other laptops are older and are still running ( ibm, asus,hp,dell and medion). hardware design is clever (magnetic power plug, fan vents hidden in the  screen's hinge) but the components they choose are unreliable (big problem for the hdd) - don't buy apple laptops you don't get what you pay for ! bootcamp also has lots of issues : trackpad not working well,camera at 1fps, lower battery life due to bad settings in drivers, standard nvidia drivers not compatible. so it is also a bad choice if you want to use it as a windows computer.
