I was concidering buying Microsoft Office, but I am so glad that I picked iWork, instead. iWork is way cheaper, and works with Microsoft Office and PC's, so it's like getting Mircosoft office AND iWork. Pages is like Word, Keynote is like Powerpoint, and Numbers is like Excel. They are all practically the same. iWork is a must-have for any Mac user. I wouldn't go with any other program, ever. Very simple, and you learn how to use the program almost instantly. iWork seems to have more features then most programs, and certainly more than Microsoft Office. I found that Numbers has the most features for a spreadsheet program. Another great thing about iWork is that it you can put all of your iWork documents on the iWork website. From the website you can log in, view and download all of your documents. And the best part is that all the documents can be downloaded on PC's, too. So that means if I typed up something on Pages on my Mac and went to go download it on my PC it would turn into a Word document. It's a great service, and it's all free with iWork. I can't believe how cheap iWork is for what it can do. I strongly recommend getting this program, you will not regret it, I promise. So please, before you go out and spend a bunch of money on Microsoft office (which you can only use the disc for one computer) or any other word processing suites, don't forget about iWork.
