I can see clearly now the pc has gone...

Pros Sleek, reliable, easy & super quick to set up
Cons Pricier than a PC equivalent.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Love it. Runs smoothly, reliably and quietly. Worth the extra money.
I can't believe I didn't try a Mac sooner. I've wasted all these years with complicated set-up procedures, software installations etc etc on my high spec PCs. My sleek looking iMac was a dream to set up - I lifted it out of the box, plugged in the mouse & keyboard, plugged in the power and then the Mac did all the work.
Not only does it run like a dream, it looks amazing and comes with pretty much everything you would need already built in (snap back for backtracking, utilities like dashboard, photo software). Now that Leopard allows for running Parallels I can even still install and run all my Windows software that doesnt have a Mac version. That wasn't as easy to set up as everything else but once installed you've got the best of all worlds! The minimalist keyboard is actually really comfortable to use. The mouse buttons on the side sometimes get pressed accidentally and tile my open windows when I don't want them to but maybe that's just my clumsiness. It's taken me a little while to get used to the Mail system too after using Outlook for so long but the conversion is well worth it. I totally understand why Mac has such a loyal following now. Highly recommended!
