Apple iPod classic 6th Generation Silver (80 GB) MP3 Player

This is a fantastic player.  It has the classic, intuitive ipod interface that we all know and love (and which so many other companies have tried to duplicate to one extent or another), and it is really pretty.  It is easily scratched, so if you are concerned about the appearance of it, you will want to get a cover for it.  I have had mine for a LONG time, and it is totally dependable.  The battery life is  nice and long so that I can use it on trips and while commuting for extended periods of listening.  Also, this thing has HUGE storage, meaning that you can put an almost unrealistically huge amount of music on it (think about 1300 hours of music...yeah, that's right).  You need to set up playlists in your itunes account to make it more usable, but other than that, it is extremely user friendly.  As long as you don't mind having a player that is a little bit larger (of course it IS bigger than a shuffle or nano), this would be an absolutely fantastic player to get your mitts on.
