What is man’s best friend? Well in most instances, people would instantly exclaim the dog, and I would kindly say you are wrong. So what has replaced our canine friends on the top of the totem pole? Well the one thing in my life that can make me laugh, cry, shout at the top of my lungs, and whispers sweet something’s into my ear at night is my loyal Silver Apple iPod Classic with 80 GB of memory.
The first reason why the iPod is vastly superior to any Discman has to do with the enormous amount of information that can be stored on this product. I currently have filled my own classic with 7033 songs along with 571 photos. You may think to yourself that my iPod might be phased by my music library and photos but you are misinformed. I still have 42 GB of memory left free for more music, photos, calendars, contact lists, alarms, and a plethora of other extras.
The second advantage that the 80 GB iPod Classic can be said in a familiar phase, “Size does matter.” The girth, length, and width of the iPod make it easy to fit into my front pocket for everyday use and companionship. Apple has been able to shrink their technology to be small but still remain very reliable and sturdy.
The third incentive to choose this valuable product over your mother-in-law is its easy touch sensitive control pad. All iPods use a circular pad to navigate through its applications which was easier to figure out then peeling a banana. The simplicity of the main control pad is much appreciated compared to other over complicated keypads that plague our nation.
To sum it up, if you are a raging music lover that hoards as much music as a squirrel does with nuts, your new best friend is only a paycheck away.
