Apple iPod classic 6th Generation Silver (80 GB)

Pros Thin, huge capacity, amazing battery, very smooth, and nice looking.
Cons Scratches easily, a little bit of a delay time between songs.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  The bottom line is, there is no greater ipod out there in my opinion unless you want to get really techincal, and if so good luck finding better.
My personal opinion on the Ipod classic is, It's definately one of the greatest ipod's I've ever owned. I've read quite a bit of bad reviews of the ipod itself, but I would have to disagree. I disagree because it's hard to bash something that is basically the best of it's generation. For what it compares against I believe it's the best. I love it because it's a simple Ipod, and it has color to it. I love how the front screen splits between your options of what you want to do or listen to, and on the other side it shows album artwork, or video lists. I will admit the back can get scratched easily but that can be fixed with a case. Also it has a little bit of a delay time occasionally after you hit the next song button, but that's not really a big deal. I have had mine turned on without being charged for a week, during work or between different activites. It's great for on the go music, and the battery is amazing. Rarely are you having to worry if your ipod is going to die on a trip or sports event. A very good thing about the great battery is you can watch a couple of movies in one battery life. It connects great to a fm transmitter in a vehicle. Because I also own the newest ipod nano and ipod touch, I will take my classic anywhere with me over the other ones. I choose the classic because it's so durable, and again simple, with a big screen. The touch I'm to worried I will break it or the screen because it's huge. The nano sucks when in your pocket because of the shake and change songs feature. There really is no comparison in my opinion. I would recommend this to anybody, especially if you like music on the go.
