Apple's customer service makes me never want to buy another one of their products

Okay so everyone loves the ipod and we are no exception. So I bought this for my husband. He loves to use it for running and working out and its great for trips. Well 1 week before the year warrenty is up it stops turning on. I call and set up an apointment with their "geniuses" (huge eyeroll as its some scruffy college kid working at the mall).
Well they tell us it has been submerged under water which they know becuase of some indicator light inside the ipod. Their warrenty does not cover water damage so they will not fix it but will give us 10% off a new one. WOW. Sheesh! Give me a break. First off, complete lie on it being submerged in water. So we buy a second ipod well guess what! It happens AGAIN. Im not even going to deal with it. I have called and complained and NOONE will help me. All I want is for someone to fix the scrolling pad on the new one bc its not turning right. They are ridiculous. Other people I have met said they have heard about this happening. That if you live in a really humid area, it can cause this. So screw you Apple!
My advice, buy with caution and realize that if anythign happens they will find anyway they can to not honor your warrenty!
