I Love Me Some Sticky Rice

SO, I'm a rice fan.
I'll also a chick who doesn't have time to properly boil/cook rice.
I had no luck finding microwavable rice until I came across a product made by Annie Chun's.
Annie Chun's is a pretty famous brand - you'll most likely find it in your health food/organic food area. Unfortunately, many of the places convenient for me to shop, don't carry much of the product line.
One gloomy day, while surfing Amazon.com, I decided to poke around in their grocery area. Side note: I've had a lot of inconsistencies in Amazon's delivery for groceries, so I wasn't really looking to buy something as much as I was curious what was out there for gluten-free foods.
Annie Chun's Rice Express Sticky White Rice was one of the first, highly-rated items that came up in my search.
Several people had positive things to say about the product. These just weren't diehard health food nuts ;), these were also moms piping in saying that their kids who are extremely picky eaters - really liked this stuff too.
I took a chance and ordered a box of 6 for $14.00. I was excited to receive my ready-to-microwave and eat, freshly steamed sticky rice which is 100% natural, gluten free and wheat free, and with no added oil or salt.

Your rice comes with a vacuum sealed (plastic) covering and is further shielded from the elements in a outer-wrapping type of box. I mention this because I'm not always thrilled with Amazon's approach to shipping their grocery items, so knowing that the Annie Chun's people already wrap/protect/box up their stuff well - well - that's one less thing I have to worry about (when ordering from Amazon).
Directions - easy!
Take off the outer box container. Peel back the plastic wrapper top to the designated area. Throw it into your microwave for two minutes. Bing! Perfect sticky white rice.
And yes, it really is that easy.
It's also incredibly hot when you pull it out of your microwave. This is when I will add my already pre-cooked veggies and maybe a sauce or shredded cheese to it. A few minutes later (without any additional microwave time), my cheese is nicely melted and I have a very satisfying - dare I say...? somewhat healthy meal.
Ingredients: Purified Water, Sticky Rice, Gluconolactone (Gluconolactone is A Natural, Non-dairy, Gluten-free Ingredient Derived From Corn).
