The Bottom Line:
It is good but When it gets old it will be old forever. You will usually get of it when you make your house perfect.
I saw the commercials and i thought to myself "This is just like the Sims". So I got it for my birthday. I liked it alot for one you can do many things, you can get stuff and sell it for money to buy stuff and create your dream house. The currency in your town is bells. I like how you can practicly customize your whole town like the name, and stuff. Then you have about 9 animals in the town. You can make them like you or hate you. They all have different personalities and times that they will be home. You get money by either selling items, collecting shells, digging it up, or my favorite fishing. When you get alot of bells you can make your house bigger. You can make a upstairs, a basement, and a bigger first floor. Each upgrade is unique. Then when you get money you can buy items to put in your house. You can also buy flowers to decorate your town. If you ignore your town and dont pull every weed you see it will become ugly and more weeds will come. If you have lots of weed people will stop moving in and people will move out. If you plant flowers and keep your town in tip-top shape people will move in. You must constantly play this game because if you dont talk to the people of your town they will move. Also one of the best parts is you can create your own clothes and wear them. If they get famous people in your town will start wearing them. So it is pretty much alot of fun making a house and keeping a town together. I love how you can collect old NES games and put them in your house and play them. Now for the downfalls. The graphics are not great. Fishing constantly can be boring and thats the best way to get money since they sell for alot. Also after about 3 months it will get boring. IT WILL GET OLD. I mean it is awesome while it lasts, and it lasts a long 3-4months. After that the game is useless. If you dont pick weeds they will over run your town and it will take you about 1 and a half hours to weed it all. So it is a pretty good game, yet a bit too kid orriented.
