Amped 3 is sure out there. The people that came up with this game must have been on something. I mean, this whole game is just plain wacky. This may turn some hardcore snowboarders off but it also invites those new to the sport to have a go. I have never snowboarded but I had fun playing this game... Read full review »

Very cool snowboarding game, but not the best.

Pros Fun, cool story, and awesome tricks!
Cons Horrible graphics, bad soundtrack, and repetitive objectives.
Recommended it? No

I played this game a lot when I first got it but then I became bored with it after about a week or two. The game is very cheesy. The characters are intended to be very "cool" people but instead come off as a bit annoying. It seemed like the objectives didn't vary at all between all the different... Read full review »

The trick system really isn't very deep in this game. The tricks basically consit of the axyb buttons and pressing... Read full review »

Pros The insane plot and cutscenes
Cons The average gameplay
Recommended it? Yes

The extreme sports genre flamed out almost as quickly as it arrived, thanks to an endless array of clones that really didn't do much of anything to separate itself from the genre king, Tony Hawk. The Hawkman himself is to blame in many ways as well, thanks to Activision's endless sequels that also... Read full review »

Pros Goofy theme, fun gameplay, expansive mountains, clever challenges
Cons No Multiplayer, zaniness might turn off hardcore Amped fans
Recommended it? Yes

I hate sports games. I don't like sports in general so that last thing I want to do is play a game based on something I don't like. That said, I've always been a fan of the Amped snowboarding games beginning with Amped 1 and 2 for the original Xbox developed by Microsoft Game Studios. Then... Read full review »
