Pros Offers fast effective relief while you wait for your doctor.
Cons Doesn't cure the infection, only offers relief of symptoms.
Recommended it? Yes

For years I suffered from frequent and recurring urinary tract infections that would cause severe discomfort which usually had to just be endured until I could get to my doctor, and even then I'd wait for the antibiotics to kick in leaving me uncomfortable for a few more days.  Needless to say...
