This pump allows for you to use it everyday, travel and store your precious milk. It help maintain your supply, without the worry.
I have been Exclusively Pumping for the past 6 months. During that, 6 months I have used 3 different pumps. I have gone from worst The Evenflo Electric Pump, to The First Years Dual Pump, to the best The Ameda Purely Yours, in my opinion. Who knew pumping could be so easy. Well it can be with the Ameda Purely Yours. I purchased this pump brand new off of Ebay last December. I waited patiently for its arrival using my previous pump, meanwhile using The First Years Dual Electric Pump. On it's arrival I tore open the box, got the necessary parts ready to be sterilized. With my first initial pump, I was in heaven. I knew at that moment I could make the long haul juggling my 2 kids and pumping (while being a single mom during the week, as my husband works a lot out of state).
The Ameda Purely Yours Pumps
The Cycle Dial (which is control on the far left) this controls the speed. It has 4 cycles you can use. They vary from 30 to 60 cycles per minute.
The Vacuum Dial (control on the right) controls the suction strength. There are 8 suction levels to use. I use to strongest suction first to help the milk flow faster.
Weighing only 1 pound, it?s power sources consist of an AC adapter or for on the go power sources 6-AA batteries or and Car adapter. Which is not included, the batteries and car adapter that is.
It allows you to dual pump or single pump. It can be switched while using just one hand.
The Tote bag is Black, and lite weight. It has 2 storage compartments, one is for the collection kit and unused bottles, and the second is a cooler department. It?s also come with 3 cooler packs, to be used to cool the milk. It can cool up to 10 hours. The collection kit, includes 6-4 ounce bottles with caps and lids, a pair of breast shield, 4 white valves, one suction tubing. In the top of the tote bag is where the pump, and the AC adapter are stored, with holding compartment or snaps to lock down for travel.
The recommended pumping time is 20 minutes; I sometimes have to go longer when I am especially full. In all I am so glad I decided to purchase this pump. It?s not a waste of money, especially to give my precious baby girl my milk. As I said in the beginning I have been pumping for 6 months now, but the last 4 months have been great pumping with the Purely Yours.
