Ameda Purely Yours Dual Electric Breastpump

I am a lactation consultant and so I get to try out a lot of pumps, as well as see hundreds of moms using them. The Purely Yours is a great double electric pump. Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad pumps out there, and lots of people buy them and give up pumping thinking they have no milk, when really it is the pump. You won't have that problem with this pump. It is effective, even in maintaining a milk supply when exclusively pumping. My sister did that for two months when her baby was in the NICU. Its small and lightweight, so good for working moms. I usually compare it to the Medela Pump in Style, which is the competitor's model of the same grade. The Purely Yours works just about as well, but you do have to remove it from the case to use it, unlike the Pump In Style. On the plus side, you can buy it for a lot cheaper. I have seen it for $150 on the internet. If you are going to be pumping at home, and keeping it set up all the time, this is probably a better choice for you anyway. As far as quality and ability, I have no complaints about this pump.
