Love this Pump!
Pros
Easy to use, Comfortable pumping, Variable speed and suction
Cons
Expensive for moms who don't need a high powered pump
Recommended it?
Yes
When I got pregnant, I knew I'd want to breastfeed my second child as I had my first. However, I also knew I'd have to return to work in a short time, so I began searching for a good electric breast pump.
Originally I intended to buy the Medela Pump in Style, but decided instead after much research to buy the Ameda Egnell/Hollister Purely Yours Breast Pump. The pump has every feature of the Pump in Style but is considerably cheaper.
I must say that I LOVE the Purely Yours. It has variable speeds and suction, so that each mom can find the pumping speed and strength that is comfortable for her. It is fairly small and easily portable, extremely lightweight, and comes with 6 storage bottles and a number of refreezable ice packs for storing in the pump bag, which has insulated compartments for the milk.
I'm not back at work yet but have used the pump almost daily for two months, and I would highly recommend it to any mom considering the Pump in Style. It's a must for working moms who intend to pump and breastfeed, and SAHMs might even consider buying it for the ease and speed of use, though it is rather expensive for a mom who doesn't pump often.
