I gave birth to a preemie and had to start pumping immediately. At the hospital I rented the Medela Lactina Select and kept it for two months and then realized when I got my rental bill I was paying out the wazoo for something I would never own and it was NOT PORTABLE!!! I started checking into the Pump N Style and thought that was the one I would go with since I was already using a Medela product. However my best friend stepped in and recommended this pump. I called the lactation consultant and got a wonderful price and she also told me that the sales rep would buy it back in case I didnt like the pump. Well, I LOVE IT!!!
The lactation consultant even thought I wouldn't like the pump, but so far so good. I have found it has helped me to increase my milk supply because I can discretely take it with me where ever I go. The case is rather large, but not heavy at all. It has wonderful suction that can easily be changed to your preferences. When you are out and about, it has a wonderful compartment for milk storage. The pump can run on batteries, so if you are caught out shopping, you can even pump in the car (thank goodness for tinted windows).
All in all, I would recommend this to any new mother who has the need to pump breast milk.....especially to new mothers of preemies who have yet to develop the ability to suck and dont have a choice about pumping.
