Recommended it? Yes

If you commute daily and read the paper this is ideal. Its less portable than the little one. But is much better for scanning news stories. Carried in a briefcase/purse negates this problem.

I like the Kindle, but i am really ticked off by the use of PDF versuses simple .txt format. I am not a fan of PDFs and that is a big turn off for me. The .txt is a much easier format to use and is much more versatile. Also, the prices for the PDFs that Amazon is offering are still quite high... Read full review »

Pros Clarity of the text, free wireless services by Sprint, PDF support, free book previews.
Cons Not all books have been digitized, no built in back light, folders to organize, cost.
