I Great Reading Device!
I have used this device for a while. The reason I bought it was because I didn't like reading on my iPad because of the screen. This screen is a lot better for reading and really like using it. I really have no problems with mine I like everything about it size, feel and overall experience... Read full review »
Overall Great Device
I purchased a kindle almost a year ago and have never loved reading so much. The only downfall is that the Kindle Books do not show page numbers, but only a "location" and a "percent read" bar. I highly recommend this to anyone who wishes to purchase an eReader not only because of its light, sleek... Read full review »
Kindle Me This, Kindle Me That
My name is Amy, and I am a book-aholic. Reading is my drug of choice. Simply entering a book store causes my heart to race, my palms to sweat, my mouth to water, and my ability to make rational decisions to completely fly out the door. My husband frequently jokes that if we lived in a larger... Read full review »
Excellent for people with arthritis
I have, from the very beginning, been against e-readers. I have always loved holding a book in my hands and couldn't imagine doing otherwise.
And then my husband bought me the kindle for a gift.
I can't put it down! The screen is easy to read and the kindle is...

No Trees Died in the Writing of This Review
From the day the Amazon Kindle first came out, I wanted one! Finally, this year, at $189, they became affordable and I got one.
Amazon Kindle is an eBook reader. Digital files are stored on the device and presented for your reading enjoyment on what's called an e-ink...

Simple reader with a nice screen
The screen is certainly the highlight of this device. The eink only uses electricity to set and reset the pixels (unlike an LCD, which must have power for you to see). As a result, when you first open your Kindle, you will see that it already has writing on the screen and was shipped... Read full review »
Amazon Kindle 2: Hi-tech toy is cool, useful and beneficial!
The Amazon Kindle 6" Wireless Reading Device (Latest Generation)
When I first saw the original Kindle wireless reading device being advertised for sale at Amazon in 2008, I thought to myself, This would be really nice to have if I had the extra money, but I don't really need a new tech-toy...

Kindle goes to the darkside
My wife purchased a Kindle for me for Christmas and registered it under her Amazon account. Initially I loved the product. I bought a number of books but its a pain managing my reader from her account. I called kindle support to find out about registering the reader to my account instead. I was... Read full review »
Does what it promises, but a bit pricey
The Kindle in my opinion, was a bit overpriced. It does what it promises, but with the lack of features, and the cost of some kindle books, the overall price tag of the kindle was a burden. If the screen was color, and if it had more functionality the price tag of this ebook reader would be... Read full review »
My Kindle is my constant companion!
I got my Kindle 2 for Christmas. I could not be happier with it. I would never have purchased it for myself, due to the cost, but I am sure glad I have it! Other than the price, my only complaint is that there is no light. The best part is that I can read in bed at night,... Read full review »
Makes Reading Hassle Free!
I wasn't sure if I would like the Kindle at first, but now that I have had it for about two months, it is AMAZING. It has reinvented the way I reads books! I honestly have no problems with it. Even though the price may seem a little high, it is worth it because the price of e-books is so much less... Read full review »
must have for book lovers
Must have for a book lover. I love that I can take it anywhere and not have to carry a big book around. Also, buying books in kindle version is cheaper than buying books in print so in the long run it saves money. Read full review »
my husband loves his...finally a''book'' he wants to read
Great product for everyday use. The battery life is good and the screen is easy to read. Only wish it would come in a variety of colors for more personalization. My husband traveled to Canada a few weeks ago and could have sold his 10 times, everyone on the plane wanted it! Read full review »
A new way of reading books
This was given to me as a gift about one month ago. I am still learning about. I know you can download free books. You can also share your books with another kindle reader if you choose too. It stores hundreds of books. This is also great to travel with. If you are a true reader,... Read full review »
Totally Addicted!!
I am so in love with mine! It is no much nicer than lugging around several heavy books. I travel on a regular basis, and much like others, I pass the time by reading. It is light and easy to use! And if I finish my books, i don't have to find an airport book store to over pay for a book that I... Read full review »

Easy way to carry around many books at one time!
My husband bought me a Kindle for Christmas! I really like it! It is small, lightweight, easy to read and has lots of memory. He also bought me a cover to keep it protected. Frustrated with lack of titles offered by Amazon for Kindle.
Great product. Easy to use. Great concept. But I am writing this review not because of the things I love about my Kindle, I am writing this review because I would seriously reconsider purchasing the Kindle had I known that most of the book titles I want to read are not available on the... And One eBook Reader to Rule Them All
I am an avid reader. On the average, I consume at least one book a week. If I am on a business trip, I usually finish a book on the flight out, one on the way back, and at least one more while I am away. My interest in books spreads amongst history, science, military, politics and...
