The Christmas season is near, and what better way to break into epinions than for me to tell you why you should go buy these speakers.
I have always been a staunch supporter of the Altec family, but even i was a little surprised at the quality of these speakers. They are small and fit easily on my desktop at college (where space is crucial). The size is the first of many positive aspects of these speakers.
The second is sound clarity. If i were to rate the sound clarity and quality of these speakers on a 10 point scale, i would give them an 8. Basically, these speakers will give you more than enough for your money, but i have heard a few better speakers.
The sub-woofer is actually one of the best i have ever heard. It gives a nice bass sound and works best when put inder the desk, giving it a very acoustic sound. It is fairly small in size, but you sacrifice no quality in the process.
If you are wondering if this is a good gift idea this holiday season, let me be the fist to say yes. Absolutely worth every penny i paid for them, this is one of my favorite accessories of all time. These small speakers hold more than enough power and clarity for just about anyone i know. While there may be a few better speakers on the market, i truly believe there does not exist a better deal.
