Altec Lansing ACS 45.1 2.1 Speakers

Let me start off by saying that this is the only product of any kind that I have ever used that I have been so pleased with I wrote a letter of praise to the manufacturer. The sound quality is great. I just upgraded my car audio system with a new receiver and speakers for $300, and you know what my reaction was? "Well, I always have my comp speakers when I really want to listen to music..." Ok, so the mid range might be slightly lacking, just as I have seen on several review sites. I just pull the middle 4 sliders slightly up in winamp eq and all is well. I own the logitech x2 and the acs-44 speaker/sub combos. This blows them out of the water, especially the subwoofer. It is quite powerful. The satellites are great as well, playing very loud without distortion. The quality of the sound they produce, loud or soft, is very high (at least to me). Like another reviewer said don't not buy these because they are only 2 and not 4. Quality is better than quantity.
