Altec brings the house down

Cons
Cloth material on front can rip/snag
Recommended it?
Yes
Forget the stereo, if I really want to crank up the tunes I just put a CD in my computer. The Altec Lansing Power Cubes and subwoofer give out great sound. With the subwoofer turned up, the whole house shakes and I have actually had things fall off the windowsill. I try to be nice to my neighbors and keep it down a bit most of the time though. This set consists of two small speakers, about the size of Bose speakers and a larger subwoofer. The small speakers sit on top of the shelf above my computer and I have the speakers underneath the desk on wooden blocks for better sound. At $79, you get a lot of decibels for your dollar.
Besides general music listening I like to make drum loops with software. These speakers are just the ticket for making my apartment sound like a club. They sound better than any other sound system I have had and I highly recommend them.
