The Allied Telesyn AT-MCF1xx range of media converters is a complete family of 6 and 12 channel 100Mbps manageable media converters, all housed in a single slim, 19" rackmountable unit. With a range of fiber connector styles for SC, ST, MT-RJ and VF-45, and supporting both multi-mode and single-mode fiber cabling, these media converters allow inter-connectivity of Fast Ethernet networks at distances of up to 40km.??The AT-MCF1xx media converters can be installed as unmanaged devices, making them extremely cost-effective. All of the converters are easily upgradeable with management in the field by the installation of a slide-in management module, the AT-MCM01. This allows all ports to be monitored from a remote NMS (Network Management Station) over the network. All ports support the Allied Telesyn 'Missing Link' feature, which allows the media converters to truly propagate Fast Ethernet 'Link' signals.
