Age of Empires 2: Age of Kings for Windows

Microsoft's latest attempt at making a RTS went over very well. There really isn't anything wrong with the game, just it doesn't seem as playable as Starcraft. Starcraft just had something about it that made me want to keep coming back to it, but this just doesn't have the same appeal. It has decent graphics, I would have liked better building animations and a higher color support, but other then that everything is beautiful. There is also a ton of different "races" to play as from everything like the British to Japan. If you like simple RTS games, this will not please you, there is so much to micro-manage you may not want to get into this. If you like deep involving games that require you to move FAST, this is your game. Either way though, if you don't own Starcraft, get that first, it's so much better than anything else will ever be.
