This game is one of the best games I own. I am very happy with my purchase for many reason that we will get in to briefly. But first let me say that I recieved the first Age of Empires when I bought my computer and I liked it, so i bought the second. That was a good move.
This game is very good in quality. I like so many things about it. The first thing is the campaigns. For those of you who don't know campaigns are a series of games with some story to it. For instance on Age of Empires II there is a Joan of Arc campaign where you are/control Joan of Arc. I find these games to be very fun and addicting. I am frequently up at all hours of the morning just trying to get in one more game. In terms of actual game play this is a very good game. I love all the units/people in it. There are many options within the actual game. This is a thinking game. There is one objective and a thousand ways to get it. I also find the game to be very realistic historicaly. Microsoft has spent a lot of time making everything somewhat accurate (in terms of names and looks). Another feature I love about this game is the multiplayer capability. Since the built in games were so addicting I finished them all in no time. Now I play against my peers online. This game is a very good game.
Anyone who likes thinking and action get this game. I promise it will entertain you for hours.
