I received many things on Christmas and one of these happened to be Age of Empires Two. At first I thought this would be another strategy game that would end up covered in dust sitting on a shelf in my house. Once I played this game however I realized how wrong I was. I doubt this game will even go unplayed for a month.
The graphics are among the best I have ever seen for a computer strategy game. You can easily distinguish one type of soldier from the next type of soldier, which in most other games you have to sit there and study the person for a minute or two.
The sounds are perfect for the game, you can even hear the clashing of swords in the heat of battle. When you select a character you even hear them telling you that they are ready to serve you any way that you please.
This game is also one of the more original strategy games, not only are there thirteen civilization which you can choose to play, they each have their own abilities or bonuses. There are four ages which you must advance through, and in each there are new building and characters that you can create.
