Fun at first
Pros
Awesome opening graphics
Cons
Gets very boring
Recommended it?
Yes
I got Age Of Empires along with my computer. I didn't know what to expect. I put in the cd and was amazed by the opening graphics. The scenes of war and battle got me hooked immediately. When I started to play, it took a while to learn, but I found it extremely fun to do.
After that I was hooked for about 2 weeks. All I did on my computer was play that game. But it got very boring after time. The same tedious tasks over and over again get to you at some point. The game tries to cover this up with different scenarios, which are just the same thing in a different map.
I haven't played Age Of Empires in about 3 months, and I don't plan to anytime soon. Yes it was fun, I was addicted. But the game is just tedious and very limited.
But looking over this opinion I still have to give the game credit. even with it's low amount of gameplay, it's still one of the best strategy games I've seen.
