Not good
I am adept at using many Adobe software but I found Encore really confusing and hard to use. Everything is hard to figure out and confusing. I do not recommend this software for even semi-professional users such as I am.

It works for me
I've used Nero and TMPEG DVD Author to author DVD's and Encore blows by both of them so fast that I don't even know where to find the previous two anymore.
I must be one of the lucky ones, but so far I have not had too much problems with it. Yes, it crashed on me a couple of times, but...

This Thing Stinks On Ice!!!
Man, what a disaster Encore DVD has been for me. And judging by many of the posts in the Adobe support forums it seems, sadly, that I am not alone. Error filled little piece of trash
Usually, I don't review software. But I am really upset because I just spent 550 bucks for this supposedly award winning DVD authoring software for my Digital Media Editing company.
I was shocked by the poorness of the software.
It is error filled, constantly crashed and unpredictable...
