Lightroom 2 is an excellent program to help make your photo workflow simpler. It is simple to take the pictures off of your camera in RAW or JPG format, add keywords and pick your favorites, then do simple editing to them such as exposure and white balance adjustments then export them for print. It makes it very simple to keep track of all of your photos in the lightroom catalog. This is a very powerful program. If you are looking to do some more advanced photo editing, you should look into getting Adobe photoshop. Lightroom is mainly made for photo organization and displaying photos to clients.
