It's a huge improvement as the game makes a transition from WWII times to modern battlefields. Although in the process, the single player mode has really shrunk. But other points make up for this. You get to manage US and British soldiers and marines and guide them through tricky situations. Its online community is thriving which make multi-player mode much more fun.
