6001 Juicerator...still going after 30 years!
Pros
easy to use, maximum juice production, machine lasts forever!
Cons
frequent filter changes needed when making large quantities of juice
Recommended it?

I purchased the 6001 model (stainless vs plastic basket) in 1976. I used the Juicerator a lot during the first year, then put it on the shelf and took it out about once a year to make apple juice in the Fall. One time I brought it to my daughter's school and all the first graders helped make apple juice! Yesterday I dusted off my Juicerator to make apple juice with my granddaughter (5 yrs old) for the first time. The machine works as well as it did in 1976.
This machine is easy to clean. If you insert the filter properly (and it is very easy to do that) then you just peel the filter out and throw the pulp in the trash! There is very little that is difficult to clean here.
The centrifugal extraction is preferable (to me) to the type of machine that spits out the pulp into a bowl. The pulp in the juicerator is quite dry, which tells me I've gotten the maximum amount of juice.
