I am happy with this product because it is quieter, easier and tastier than other juicers I have owned!
To think of all the money we all spend on places like Jamba Juice, and other juice joints that make $5.99 for a few bananas blended with grape juice. Even though it takes much more work, it is not only more economical but healthier, to make juice at home!
I got this as a Christmas gift, the Supreme Juicerator Juice Extractor from WARING ACME, and even though I only use it maybe once a week, I am able to make and freeze a few various homemade juices, depending on my taste. Sometimes I like strawberry, blueberry or raspberry, and I know that I can squeeze the juice, and either drink it, freeze it or throw it in the blender and mix a smoothie.
This is really best for oranges, lemons and limes, as it extracts and separates pulp. I have used cantaloupe, honeydew, mango and other exotic fruits like star fruit and kiwi. You can also use vegetables, like tomatoes, to make marinades or brushes, like meatloaf toppings, or to mix in with homemade pizza sauce. You get a bowl, an instruction manual, and a cover along with it. It is hands-on friendly.
It is easy to use, lifting the top, hitting the button, and it shoots out powered by a 550 watt, 4.8 amp motor, and unlike many other juicers, it is quiet, and you do none of the squeezing yourself. It seems to get every last drop, and of course, it is not easy and no fun to clean out the leftover residue, but this is easy to wipe clean and nothing gets stuck in grooves. There are no grooves!
The sleek blades and entire inside mechanism is made of stainless steel, and the outside is white polycarbonate that is attractive and durable. This is dishwasher friendly, and it is easy to take apart and put back together.
Juicers are more than just drinking your fruits and vegetables, you can make recipes with the liquid that can aide you in many home remedies for various illnesses and conditions such as anemia, constipation, urinary tract infections, high blood pressure, heartburn, allergies, diabetes, insomnia, cholesterol, and many others. If your child is on a GF/CF diet like mine is, it is a lifesaver!
