These versatile shallow planters have been used for centuries in southern india to decorate courtyards, patios and temples. They were traditionally cast out of bronze but we chose hand cast aluminum to take the heft out without compromising beauty or quality. They are offered in 3 sizes, small, medium and large with a green patina finish.

The Urli planters take their shape from a traditional South Indian cooking vessel that can be just the size for cooking at home or large enough to cook for temple visitors. Traditionally made of cast bronze we have used hand cast aluminum to remove the heft without compromising beauty utility and durability. Urlis have a small foot side handles and simple decorated rim and should be drilled for direct planting. In three sizes use to create floral arrangements tabletop gardens fountains plant annuals for the veranda or an entire herb garden on the patio. Small Urli-I measures 14 W x 5 H x 11 Dia.
