Acer Aspire One AOA150-1029 (LU.S410B.032) Netbook

I bought this notebook from Staples several weeks ago. I already have 2 other laptops and a desktop. I bought it for college because of its size, rather than lugging around my larger laptop. It has all the bells and whistles that my full size laptop has with the exception of a cd drive. You can either by an external cd drive, or what I did was loaded the software onto my jump drive and then loaded it onto this notebook. Another way was to put a cd in my other laptop and then I used my wireless network to copy the files to my notebook and then installed the software. One other way is to download software from the internet, such as drivers, manuals, and updates. This notebook only weighs about 2 pounds, its keyboard is slightly smaller, but easy to use. The mouse pad takes a little getting used to because the buttons that are normally under the touchpad are on the sides. It connected to my home wireless network on its own. I have since taken on a trip and it connected to a wireless connection without any difficulty. Its compact size is great for traveling, easily slips into your bag. This notebook comes in several different colors. This particlar unit has 1 gb of memory, 120 gb hard drive, 8.9" screen, 3 usb ports, jacks for a microphone and headphones, built in web cam, and Windows Xp.
