One of the last Corded Phones with Speed Dial Buttons

Pros 32 Speed Dial Buttons, Speakerphone and LCD Screen
Cons Uncomfortable handset, poor sound quality and Do Not Disturb button a problem
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  This business phone has good and bad features. If you need a corded phone, speakerphone and speed dial buttons you probably should get this phone for lack of better choices.
This is a corded phone with 32 speed dial one touch buttons and is one of the last of its kind. Although I only use one phone line, it is 4 phone line capable with 32 possible intercom extensions. There are many features which I don't use, including intercoms. The handset is uncomfortable and the handset and speakerphone sound quality are not great. Neither is the headset sound great but that might be because of my headset. I will try a better quality one to see if it improves the sound. There is one volume control which affects the handset, headset and speakerphone so you have to keep adjusting it accordingly. There is a Do Not Disturb button which cuts off the ringer. It is too close to the handset so it can be accidentally pressed leaving you with no ringer. I taped a plastic blister pack from a pill over the button to prevent accidentally hitting it. I have to say I bought this phone out of desperation because of the speed dial buttons which I need for phone card usage and dialing convenience but I'm not crazy about this phone. Suffice it to say, I'll have to live with the good, the bad and the ugly. It cost me $100 at Staples.
I left out an important feature; the LCD screen which not only shows the time of day and the date but you can see the number you dialed and also the number of minutes spent on the call. This is quite helpful in tracking time spent talking to your attorney and other time billable matters.

Another IMPORTANT point I discovered. If you have other phone extensions in another room that are not plugged directly into the AT&T phone extension ports you cannot pick up the AT&T phone to continue a conversation you started in the other room. However, you can continue a conversation on a phone in another room if you originated the call (or picked up) on the AT&T phone. This is only a slight inconvenience but one you should be aware of.
