Use your Mobile and your Land Line on one phone.

byareizman Mar 5, 2009
10 Helpfuls 11 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Use your mobile and land lines together on one phone. Saves lots of $$.
Cons Has many limitations and 'gotchas'. Often fails to work.
Recommended it? No

This is an update to my original review posted in 2008.

More and more folks are shifting their phone use to mobile lines and relying on a household land line less and less. As the father of two teens now away at college I can tell you todays generation never touches a land line... Read full review »

I just want to put a disclaimer out there that I am no expert on these kinds of phones so don't expect this to be an experts review. This is mainly a review to explain what I thought of this phone and what could be improved.

PACKAGING: First things first, this phone was packaged well in the... Read full review »

I love technology. And I really love technology that works well. And, I really love technology that both works well and makes my life easier. This phone does that!

I have only had a cell phone for the past few years- No landline at all. But, when we recently moved, I decided to go with a... Read full review »

Personally, I'm happy with it!

Pros sound quality, ease of use, ease of setup, Bluetooth
Cons no central directory for all handsets; on VoIP line, base must connect to modem!
Recommended it? Yes

After scanning some other reviews of this phone, I get the impression that there's some love, some hate and a lot of in-between on this phone system from AT&T. I think we're in the former category (love), and the only thing I can chalk up some of the more curmudgeonly comments to is perhaps that... Read full review »

I normally wait for the second round of new technology, but my house phone crapped out, i needed a replacement. After some research , it seemed a unit with bluetooth to link the cell phones to was the new thing. There are only a few on the market and this one seemed to satisfy all me needs plus... Update from June 13, 2012
If you don't mind spending the money, get this phone system. It's been more than four years since I bought mine, and it still works like it's new. I've grown attached to it.  Awesome phone system. For the money, given its durability, I'd say it beats the other... Read full review »

This would be a great phone -- if it worked as promised.

Pros Advertised to answer home phones and two bluetooth cell phones from one of 12 handsets.
Cons Only works with 36 of the several hundred cell phone models.
Recommended it? No

After a lot of research I thought that I had found the perfect phone. The EP5632 advertises that you can simultaneously connect two bluetooth capable cell phones. I suppose you can, but only if your phone is one of the very few that has made their approval list. Yes, I mean very few. There are only... Read full review »
