Good For:
Home, Data Storage, Upgrade, Web Browsing, Video, Word Processing, Everyday Use
I looked for months to replace my laptop which was making awful "jet engine-like" noises every time it was tasked with something a bit more demanding than routine web-browsing. Specifically, I needed something that could handle editing high-def video -- something that was almost impossible with my old laptop.
Although a bit oversized and bulky compared to some new HP, Gateway and Dell models, this ASUS desktop was unbeatable in terms of price/features -- so I went for it, and am very glad I did. Not only does it have a nice sleek look, but it performs as promised -- great for handling multiple tasks at the same time, faster than anything I had experienced before, and can handle editing hr video pretty well. I may upgrade to a better video/graphics card to make it even better, but overall I'm happy I didn't settle for less power to have a smaller machine or that I didn't spend twice as much for a mac, which I also considered.
