I married a computer guy. While his tech savviness didn't rub off on me, his love of gadgets did. When netbooks first started to pop up, I knew I wanted one.
First off, you should know, this is not a computer replacement. It doesn't have a lot of storage and isn't really great for saving lots of pictures/documents/movies. If you have a desktop you love, or really only want a computer to browse the net then this is a great deal for you.
I use my netbook primarily for checking my email and the blogosphere when I'm away from home (or too lazy to go to my office). I also use it in the kitchen when I'm trying out new recipes. Because it's so light, its easy to take out with you. It's fun to relax at a coffee shop and surf. The long battery life is a plus too. During a recent flight, I used my netbook to watch a couple movies I had saved on my flash drive.
Overall, it's a great computer for light computer use,and a great deal for internet addicts like me.
