Excellent, while it works
I bought this about a year ago after reading a lot of these reviews. I've used it about once a month since then and it worked great. The one time it caught my skin behind my knee it stopped right away so it didn't really hurt.

Adequate Hair Remover
I bought this to replace a damaged Epilady and was under the impression that it didn't SHAVE the hair but removes it from the roots. Broke after 3 months; painful to use
This epilator is a piece of junk; mine broke after only three months' use. It's just a well that it broke, I suppose, because it was excruciatingly painful to use.
Many of my friends also have tried Emjoi products, but their Emjoi's also stopped functioning as well after a few months'...

EMJOI: Short-lived products
This eipliator comes with a one-year Emjoi warranty, but if you receive it as a gift it will not be repaired or replaced unless the gift-giver provides you with a receipt.
