Unit Let Me Down With A Slam - Very Disappointed
Pros
Quite frankly, at this point, I can't cite any pros.
Cons
Poor design. Lots of grounds shoot out over edge when grinding. Awful clean-up.
Recommended it?
No
We're big coffee drinkers, I mean huge. We pack coffee paraphernalia whenever we travel. So, the search for a good coffee grinder [for home], one we did not have to hold the button was "on". The design of the model was appealing, as was the size of the bean holding cell.
Major disappointment when I ground my first batch of beans. Grounds went flying everywhere. I removed the grounds holder and brushed everything out and started again. I thought to myself, "this could not be happening." Properly seated, again the grounds shot out flew all over my counter. It was a mess. They came right over the edge of the top of the clear plastic container because the black plastic lid which is attached to the main unit, does not have a tight connection; very poor design. They should have designed the cover/lid of the grounds holder to have a 1/4" inner lip closely following the outter edge which would prevent the grounds from exiting. I modified my unit, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone until a modification is introduced.
