AKG K 55 Headphones

I first bought these headphones because i wanted something that i could use as a portable that had a closed back design to block out the outside noises. These do look, and are, a bit bulky though. but i still bought them thinking that for $30 i can't go wrong. When i first put these on, they felt like they were at home. They fit my ears perfect and felt like i could wear them for hours. The pleather ear foa is kinda cheesy though and will probably wear down quick. and because they are of closed design and surround my ears, i expect the foam to get nasty because of all the sweat that's trapped. The sound is overall pretty good for closed headphones. I have a pair of sony headphones that cost about the same and these sound much better. Compared with my AKG k-240 m's, these are kinda not all that. But for long trips with sound cancelation a must, these are great.
