The AKG C518M is the ultimate miniature cardioid condensor microphone for drums and percussion. With a cardioid polar pattern that rejects overspill from nearby instruments the C518M is a great fit for stage or studio work. The AKG C518M features a continuously adjustable vise-type clamp which makes it easy to fix securely on the top hoop of most drums or percussion instruments. An external shock mount provides high mechanical-noise rejection, and a special snap-on stabilizer knee will keep the gooseneck bent at a defined angle. The C518M also features an integrated, switchable bass cut for adjusting the microphone's frequency response to any instrument's sound.
