I just bought this game at Toys "R Us and i loved it. This is a great game for the older children about 8 to 13 years old. The graphics are wonderful in this game, and you even get a few actual movie clips now and then. There is action and adventure as you help Flik save his colony. This game helps... Read full review »

I HAD to have this game...along with all the other kiddies games including Rugrats, Toy Story 2, etc...This one happened to be the only one they had at the time. I played it for about a week.

It's cute, don't get me wrong. It's a neat kind of game. You have to collect grain to restore your... Read full review »

Gee, lookie here. Here's another one of those movie-based games, that tempt little kiddies to shove their money out of their pockets, and into the developers' pockets. Usually, movie-based games tend to be total flops (like Space Jam the playstation game). They have to be released soon after the... Read full review »

I first saw the game "A Bug's Life" on PC at a friend's house. Her 8
year old son was playing it, and was having a ball! The more I watched, the more I became intrigued by it, and I knew I had to check it out for myself. When I
saw it at the video store for Playstation, I picked it up and... Read full review »

I normally don't get into playing playstation games, because I stick to the computer, but when my husband brought this one home, I had to play it because I loved the movie. The first time I played , I whizzed out! The controller started vibrating! I've never felt it do that before, LOL! So that was... Read full review »

Cons The sound was too monotonous.

A Bug's Life is a Sony game for the Sony Playstation. It's very similar to the A Bug's Life movie. The graphics are outstanding as is the audio. The music on the game is a little monotonous and begins to irritate me within no time. However, it doesn't bother the children at all. I love the fact... Read full review »

I bought "A Bugs Life" as a Christmas gift for my 5-year-old...thinking that since he enjoyed the movie so much, that this was the perfect game for him. This has to be the worst game. i rented it for two days and i got bored of it already. If nothing else, it's totally boring. My little brother gets so frustrated trying to play it that he just turns it off. (me too!) We have never gotten past the "flying off the cliff" level. A total waste of... Read full review »

A Bug's Life

You play the role of a purple ant named Flik in this free-roaming 3D game based on the 1998 computer animated movie by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures. Flik needs your help in saving an ant colony from an evil grasshopper named Hopper and his band of evil insects. The game is composed of five acts spanning three levels each, with twenty scenes from the movie mixed in to help further the story. As in most 3D platform games, you'll need to complete various objectives before advancing to the next level. These tasks range from finding an anthill to gliding across a riverbed canyon using only a dandelion. Throughout each level, Flik will have to battle various enemies on both the ground and in the air, including spiders, cockroaches, stink bugs, flies, beetles and grasshoppers. You'll also have to confront boss characters at the end of each act. Flik isn't defenseless though; he can throw berries, butt-bounce on enemies or simply run away from the danger. You'll also be able to pick up seeds and drop them wherever you want -- once you bounce on them, they'll grow into plants to help in your adventure. Disney/Pixar's A Bug's Life includes authentic voices from a majority of the movie's stars as well as an original music score.
