Works great, so far
Pros
Price, ease of cleaning, speed, quiet running, low profile, price
Cons
Kind of a large foot print. Also, I'm not sure how durable it is.
Recommended it?
Yes
I usually don't have the time to write reviews but in this case I thought credit was due.
I had an old processor that literally fell apart...plastic piece by plastic piece! So I did some research and was just about to buy a Kitchen Aid when the "cheap side" of me got the better of me and thought I'd take a chance with this one and if I didn't like it, I'd just return it.
So far it has worked well. I've had it about a month and use it once or twice a week. It's fairly quiet and fast, seems powerful enough, easy to use and clean (just pop it in the dishwasher) and best of all it was less than $30! It chops nuts well, albeit a little unevenly, purees legumes smoothly; chops fruits and vegetables easily, too. The blade is also a "GINSU" type which should never need sharpening.
All in all, I'm pleased.
