Eureka 5892AVZ Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I bought this vacuum right after the holidays last year so I've only had it about 10 months. To put it bluntly, it's horrible. I really cannot find a positive thing to say about this vacuum. I do have a cat and a dog, but they do not shed much. I was recently told by someone at a vacuum store that this vacuum does not do well with pet hair. This vacuum is heavy and awkward to maneuver. The onboard attachments fall off constantly so I now just take them off whenever I vacuum. The dusting wand is worthless (poor design and does not collect dust, just sweeps it off into the air or floor). The filter collects dust very quickly and must be cleaned very often and lastly, the suction is poor. I have to continually vacuum over and over visual dirt until it will finally pick it up (or I pick it up by hand). I am in good physical shape and, honestly, I'm worn out by the time I get done vacuuming. This machine is a nightmare on stairs.
